The AV industry has welcomed the launch of Panasonic’s simple System on a Chip AF1 display series which is available this month (April 2016).

The AF1 Series features an Android™ and HTML5-based OpenPort Platform™ and is equipped with a 1GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage. It substitutes expensive external ‘Wintel’ systems which also require cabling, additional mounts and installation.

Panasonic has today (Friday 1 April 2016) announced the creation of a new European solutions company that will bring together its various business products and develop world class solutions for its customers, offering a single point of contact and accountability. 

Panasonic System Solutions Europe (PSSEU), a division of Panasonic Marketing Europe, founded on 1 April 2016, develops market specific solutions that include Panasonic devices, software,   connectivity and third party products, delivered with world class design engineering and project management. 


Panasonic will recreate the world’s largest-ever projected image at the forthcoming Prolight + Sound 2016 exhibition from 5-8 April in Frankfurt, Germany.

The highlight of the Panasonic stand will be a reproduction of the Circle of Light festival projection where over 100 Panasonic PT-DZ21K2 projectors created a 19,099m2 image on to a group of Ministry of Defense buildings on the Fruzenskaya Embankment in Moscow.
