Panasonic boosts office efficiency with powerful yet compact KV-S1065C professional scanner
The KV-S1065C scans up to 60 pages per minute and can also handle very thin documents, detects images that require re-scanning and fits in small space
Panasonic System Communications Company launches the KV-S1065C, a professional workgroup scanner designed to offer advanced scanning functions in a very compact body.
The KV-S1065C’s small footprint (32 cm wide x 21 cm depth) allows it to conveniently fit into small spaces, such as reception counters. Capable of scanning 60 pages per minute* in black and white and colour, the scanner can quickly convert a large number of documents into electronic data, so it provides smooth usage even in offices with many users. The automatic document feeder can hold up to 75 documents and the machine allows mixed paper batch scanning which increases work efficiency. Long, small, thick and very thin sheets (from 20g/m2) can be all scanned together including hard ID card.
On top of its powerful specifications, KV-S1065C is designed to solve some malfunctions often found in such type of scanners. Equipped with an advanced image processing, this scanner can detect a missing scanned image that is due to an inadvertently folded corner. This innovative Dog-Ear detection function automatically stops the scanning and the user can then decide to rescan or continue scanning as it is.
“When designing KV-S1065C, our engineers’ target was to minimize as much as possible repetitive tasks for the users and at the same time ensure high quality scanning. Thanks to innovative functions such as the Dog-Ear detection users can save time avoiding re-scanning several documents where some important information is missing”, said David Sempere, General Manager at Panasonic System Communications Company Europe.
“We have also added the Double Feed Skip Key that was previously introduced on our flagship KV-S5055C low volume scanner. This enables users to carry on scanning even when a double feed is detected, such as when a sticky note is attached to a document or when you want to scan envelopes.”
The scanner also contains Panasonic’s Image Capture Plus software to easily edit scanned pages and save them in 8 different file formats including text-searchable PDF and searchable PDF/A.
